Short and to the point: same mechanics as the first but with less choice, youre forced to progress the difficulty with NO WAY to run on an easier difficulty to grind out money for upgrades.
Its practically inevitable youll get to a point where youre stuck on an objective with preset conditions that you can not beat and there is nothing you can do.
===Case in point===
It wont let me play without adding a "quest", the only quest left makes it so only monsters spawn (no chests for loot), you have to kill 6 monsters and they all regenerate health. I can usually get 2-3 down (despite healing back to full in less than 2 seconds) before the monsters stop taking damage, their health bars just sitting in place, and I get to watch the screen slowly scroll to the left to defeat.
Everyone who says they love it probably has not played that far are has been incredibly lucky.
Every time I completed a hard objective that was blocking progress it was due to pure luck.
Replay 10000000, the previous game is better in every way.
